This orientation is for all new volunteers who will be coming to our Keller location to volunteer. All Fort Worth, Benbrook, and Keller volunteers must attend an on-site Welcome Tour at those locations. We will give you a quick tour of the facility, and go over non-animal handling assignments, as well as Keller-specific policies and procedures for handling animals. You will have the opportunity to practice handling animals while a staff member is assisting you during this training. Following this tour, your status in VicNet will become "active" and you'll have access to all assignments in VicNet. Please remember to always check the age and training requirements on each specific assignment. You must have paid your $20 non-refundable Orientation fee before you arrive.
